The 2022 Jakarta EE Developer Survey will be ready for your input in March. This year’s survey asks developers to share their plans for building modern enterprise applications, as well as their choices of architectures, technologies, and tools in the cloud era. It also asks how the Jakarta EE Working Group can develop Jakarta EE to meet developers’ cloud needs.
The survey is in its fifth year and is one of the largest developer surveys in the Java industry. It takes less than six minutes to complete and provides platform vendors, enterprises, and individual developers with essential insights into the:
- Jakarta EE industry landscape
- Challenges Java developers are facing
- Opportunities for enterprise Java stakeholders in the cloud-native era
It also enables the Jakarta EE community to better identify priorities for future Jakarta EE releases.
Last year’s survey received more than 950 responses and highlighted the state of cloud native enterprise Java development globally, including expected growth rates for Java apps in the cloud. It also identified relevant Jakarta EE technologies, leading architectures, and applications. See a full breakdown of the survey results here.
