The June 2023 Eclipse IDE release includes Java 20 support and several updates and improvements.
As always, this release of the free, open source Eclipse IDE is available thanks to the work of hundreds of contributors and committers around the world. This release covered 66 projects and more than 103.6 million lines of code.
The release features improved plug-in tooling, improved web development tooling, and new security features. As part of an effort to improve the platform’s security, vulnerabilities in the plugin authentication mechanism have been audited and resolved. Other security features include the enforced use of HTTPS protocol, PGP key revocation handling, tracking trusted hosts and untrusted artifact handling.
