Building IoT Solutions with
Open Source Software

Eclipse has a vibrant Internet of Things (IoT) community with close to 20 projects! Many of these projects can be found in the "Eclipse-IoT-in-the-box", which you can learn about in our first article. Our other articles are putting Eclipse Concierge and Eclipse Paho in the spotlight, so check them out too! For more information about Eclipse IoT, you can visit iot.eclipse.org.

The Open IoT Challenge 2.0 was recently announced by the Eclipse IoT Working Group. Submit your proposal before November 23, 2015! You will then have until end of February 2016 to actually build your project.

Finally, there will be an IoT Day at EclipseCon Europe next week, on Tuesday, November 3. Join us for a full day of great talks and playtime at the IoT Playground.
