After the success of the several IoT Days at Grenoble (2014 - 2018), we are back for a sixth edition of the Eclipse IoT Day Grenoble on February 19th, 2019. For this one day event, we have a great program that includes topics around Edge Computing, Smart cities, IoT in Space, Connected cars, as well as the Eclipse IoT core technologies. As we have several international speakers, the conference will happen in English.

The Eclipse Foundation yesterday announced the release of GlassFish 5.1, considered a major milestone release belying the modest increase in its version number.

That’s right, Eclipse Glassfish 5.1.0.RC2, the Jakarta EE implementation, has been published in maven central. Eclipse Glassfish 5.1.0 release is terribly close.

Oracle is very pleased that Eclipse GlassFish 5.1 has been released and certified as Java EE 8 compatible.

JNoSQL is an Eclipse project which, according to its definition: "is a Java framework that streamlines the integration of Java applications with NoSQL databases. It defines a set of APIs to interact with NoSQL databases and provides a standard implementation for most NoSQL databases.
