In June and July, Eclipse held a Ganymede Around the World Contest for individuals to submit their reviews of the Ganymede release. Over 600 reviews and messages were received from more than 70 different countries. All submissions can be seen on the Ganymede Around the World map. The reviews have been judged and the results are in.

The Riena project at Eclipse reached a new milestone earlier this month: Christian Campo announced 1.0.0 M3 on the Eclipse Riena newsgroup. The Eclipse Persistence Services project (EclipseLink) has completed its incubation phase and the 1.0 release is available for download. The Eclipse Persistence Services Project, more commonly known as EclipseLink, is a comprehensive open source persistence solution.
