The Cloud Developer Survey was conducted April 22-May 1, 2021. During this period, more than 300 software developers, DevOps specialists, architects, and IT leaders in the U.S., UK, France, and Germany were interviewed. The survey report summarizes their:
· Preferences for cloud development tools and interest in new, best-of-breed tools
· Increasing use of open source software and why it’s appealing to them
· Time and productivity challenges and what they mean in terms of development tool requirements
· Focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and edge technologies as the next frontiers of cloud development
