The 2022 Cloud Developer Survey is now open.

In 2021, Eclipse Cloud DevTools conducted interviews with 300 software developers, DevOps specialists, architects, and IT leaders across the U.S., UK, France, and Germany to learn more about the migration to cloud development tools. This year, the report will be based on participation from the Eclipse Cloud DevTools community and cloud developers around the world.

Anyone with an interest in cloud development is invited to participate in the survey. The results will help the community: 

  • Better understand cloud development trends
  • Discover key opportunities for innovation in the cloud tools ecosystem
  • See how open source is influencing the industry

The survey asks respondents to rank the top cloud development environments, identify roadblocks to cloud IDE adoption, and share their thoughts on where the industry is heading.
