At Open Source Experience in Paris, members of the OSPO Alliance announce release of GGI 1.1 « GGI » framework achieved significant progresses and is now in use to help building OSPOs.
Paris, November 7, 2022 – After one year of existence, the OSPO Alliance announces the release of version 1.1 of the methodology framework proposed by the Good Governance Initiative (GGI). This version includes major improvements (i.e. translation process, automated deployment and a first use case) which will be presented at Open Source Experience, Nov. 8-9.

In this session, we're glad to welcome Frédéric Pied and François Desmier from MAIF. MAIF is the sixth car insurance in France, first to adopt a mutualist model in the country in 1934. This talk presents how they launched and maintained an open-source strategy, called #OSSbyMAIF, from governance to lines of code, since 2017.
As part of the Open Source Experience event in Paris, the OSPO Alliance and its Good Governance Initiative (aka GGI) will be presented during the Open CIO Summit, November 8th at 17h45.
In this session, Camille Moulin and Benjamin Jean (fromm InnoCube) will present the Hermine project, an Open Source community-driven project to manage SBOMs and the obligations that come from the licences they involve. It has been initiated by Inno³ and 5 partner companies: Enedis, Lectra, Orange, OVHCloud, RTE.
We are very proud to announce the availability of the first translation (in German) of the Good governance handbook at Lulu.com. The French version is on-going, and we hope many more languages to arrive soon.
