How Kynetics Built Update Factory With Eclipse IoT Technology
Our new video case study takes a look at how Kynetics, an embedded software development company based in Santa Clara, California, uses open source Eclipse IoT projects to build dependable enterprise solutions.
Through participation in the Eclipse IoT Working Group, the Kynetics team extended Eclipse hawkBit to meet their company’s needs and include multi-tenant environment support, improve UI integration, customize DDI authentication and more.
By leveraging their embedded software and backend systems experience along with hawkBit, they created their own software as a service product for managing software updates: Update Factory.
Our case study also explores how Dr. Dish, a Kynetics customer, uses Update Factory to monitor and upgrade their basketball rebounding machine in the field.
