The next face to face meetup of the openMobility Eclipse Working Group will take place at the Community Day of the Eclipse Con Europe 2019. We are looking forward to talking to our group members and working on the user stories and github issues.

You can now submit your proposals to be part of EclipseCon Europe 2019’s speaker lineup. The conference takes place in Ludwigsburg, Germany on October 21 - 24, 2019. Early bird submissions are due July 1, and the final deadline is July 15.

The first open source project which will be contributed by the OpenADx Eclipse Working Group is now in the community review. What is Eclipse Cloe? Eclipse Cloe is an enhanced middleware solution for closed-loop simulations, with a focus on functional software tests on system level. Cloe is used as a development tool for interactive and scripted workstation simulations, for code debugging, and for automated tests on servers. Cloe covers a central part of the verification and validation strategy, needed by all vendors in the field of Automated Driving.

We are very happy to official announce the foundation of the openMobility Working Group with the founding partners: BOSCH, German Aerospace Center (DLR), Fraunhofer FOKUS and Vector Informatik.

On the first day of the SUMO User Conference 2019, Monday May 13, we will officially announce the foundation of the working group. The official announcement is followed by the first working group meeting with the partners.
