On 4 December the first Eclipse SDV community meeting in South Korea took place at the LG Sciencepark in Seoul. LG Electronics, together with the international Eclipse Foundation, hosted the event. BMW, ETAS, and Hyundai Mobis also participated.

On 24 June at the Automotive Electronics Congress, 11 of Europe’s biggest automotive companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on open source automotive software under the governance of the Eclipse Foundation and the SDV Working Group.
The event brought together around 130 Eclipse SDV community members and enthusiasts on-site and online to explore the latest advancements and challenges in software-defined vehicles (SDVs) and open source software (OSS).
