Where does Java in the enterprise go from here?

Oracle recently freed J2EE, aka Java EE. Now known as Jakarta EE, enterprise Java's new manager the Eclipse Foundation is revealing its plans for the popular middleware platform.

Version 5.0.0M1 of Eclipse mdmbl released

The above mentioned version of the Eclipse project mdmbl is now available for download.

Beyond the functional extensions that have been made, the team has worked hard on clearing licensing issues that were detected following the last release. This is now the first milestone towards a mature relase 5.0.0.
