Dr. Dietmar Rapf, science + computing ag presented at the Annual Advanced Automotive Diagnostics Systems Summit [1] in Stuttgart the motivation of OEMs for implementing a measured data management system as an open source software. He depicted the history and the functionalities of ASAM ODS and openMDM®, the motivation for relaunching openMDM® in the context of an eclipse working group and gave an overview on the current status.
