New release of Pulsar adds support for Ericsson and Sony Ericsson

CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment - SAN DIEGO, Calif. - October 7, 2009 - The Eclipse Foundation today announced a new release of Eclipse Pulsar, an application development tools platform for mobile developers. The new release extends support to the Ericsson and Sony Ericsson developer communities.

December 6-12 is the last week for Eclipse DemoCamps. There were 33 events on the schedule this series - the most ever!

It is time to start thinking about submitting a talk for EclipseCon 2010. The submission system is running, the program committee is ready, so now it is up to you to submit a great talk. The deadline for submissions is December 18.

During the month of November and early December, members of the Eclipse community will be hosting DemoCamps in cities around the world. Typically a DemoCamp consists of a series of short demos and presentations from developers building new and interesting solutions with Eclipse. It is a great way to discover and learn about new Eclipse technology. There is also lots of time for informal conversation and networking, so DemoCamps are a great way to connect with colleagues and friends.

There are 4 weeks left in the fall Eclipse training series. Classes on Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP), Equinox & OSGi and Modeling are being offered until December 4. You can learn practical techniques and tips in a classroom setting or online from Eclipse experts.

The Eclipse Foundation and Eclipse member companies are pleased to announce the fall 2009 training class series. The training is an excellent opportunity for software developers and architects to learn more about Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP), Equinox & OSGi and Modeling technologies. Eclipse experts will lead the sessions, providing practical experience through classroom instruction and hands-on labs. Classes have been scheduled in 23 different cities around the world from October 19 to December 4, 2009.
